How to Find God

Every era has its own unique spiritual characteristics. Right now, in this modern era, we are in an era of cold disinterest and even a defiant OPPOSITION toward the Christian faith.
Sadly, the love for our heavenly Creator, and His Son Jesus Christ is getting COLDER, as well as rarer to find. There are also many 'luke warm' Christians.

Are you a luke warm christian? Take the test and find out; Luke Warm Christian Test

Not only has there been a great 'falling away,' but the love of many Christians for the truth has grown cold.

In its wake are seemingly endless new age beliefs, strange occultist methods, FALSE pseudo religions, mind organizations, and a whole other slew of selfish, humanistic activities which occupy time and attention. But which can never satisfy the true longing of the heart.

The shallowness of our inner experience, the hollowness of our worship, and that imitation of the world all testify, that we, in this day, don't know God, and we don't have an actual RELATIONSHIP with God.

We hardly have one at all.

If we would only reach out to God and SEEK Him amid all the worldly externals.

We must first be determined to find Him, and then proceed in the way of simplicity.

God REVEALS Himself to 'babes,' and hides Himself in thick darkness from the 'wise' and the prudent.

We must simplify our approach to Him. We must strip down to the ESSENTIAL.

We must put away all effort to impress, and come with the guileless candor of childhood.

If we do this, without doubt God will quickly RESPOND.

Much love,
Melina xxx

  1. Hello. A fellow Christian passing by, looking for interesting blogs from people who like fantasy.

I only read this latest post, but I like your approach. Keep going. "Everyone who seeks will find". "How will they know unless someone preaches"?

  3. Its interesting to take a snapshot of where we are at now and compare it to different times throught Biblical history. I mean relatively speaking, today we have much more revelation of God and much more of his followers impacts on our lives than ever before. From the positive side of things, God's justice is represented with the high level of law and order we take for granted today vs the dark ages or earlier.

If you want to go back far enough, then most people in Abraham's time were polytheistic and even look at Greek times and the lack of knowledge of God and sin that raged.

Or Sodom and Gomorrah or Noah's times.

Just to put a postiive spin. There is much to celebrate that God is doing through his Church.

I mean just think of all that tap into Christian radio, Christian websites, Christian books, and the Bible is the most published book in the world.
